Amanda Hughes is a rising third-year student at the University of Mississippi School of Law.  Amanda is working at the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender because of our dedication to advocating for the underprivileged in Memphis and the opportunity to gain meaningful experience through our mentorship program. Upon graduation, Amanda plans to pursue a career in indigent defense. Amanda enjoys live music and dog park days with the best pup, August.
