Grace Viscito
University of Michigan Law School
Grace Viscito is a rising second-year law student at the University of Michigan Law School. Originally from Vermont, Grace spent time working in local organizing and in restaurants before coming to law school. Grace believes everyone charged with a crime is entitled to dignity, empathy and zealous defense. Grace chose to intern with the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender because our office exemplifies much of what drew Grace to public defense: a holistic and client centered approach to advocacy that recognizes the humanity of each and every person we represent.
