Jackson Dimmick
Assistant Public Defender
Jackson defends the stated interests of our clients and ensures that their rights are being upheld. Jake attended Southern Illinois University Law School where he was a member of the Law Journal and the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board.
Jake has always wanted to fight against tyrannical systems of power and stand against what he considers an inequitable justice system. When he came to work for the Office of the Shelby County Public Defender as a law student, he found the office to be the perfect place to be a part of that fight.
Jake now lives in Memphis permanently with his fiancé and dog, Bane. Jake is building a list of the best restaurants and places to go in Memphis. He is always looking for new additions to the list and willing to provide suggestions for interns.
