Southern Illinois University School of Law
Jackson (Jake) Dimmick is a rising third-year law student at Southern Illinois University School of Law. Jake is the incoming Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Law Journal. Jake has always strived to serve the community through public interest, and believes that public defense is a great way to accomplish this. Jake is delighted to work this summer at the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender, one of the most impressive public defender offices in the nation. Living in Memphis will be the first time Jake has lived outside of Illinois. An interesting fact about him is that Jake is immune to poison ivy.
