Katherine (Kate) Baltes is a rising third-year law student at Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. Kate chose to intern with the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender because she wants to become a public defender after graduation, and she’s really impressed by our commitment to working with our community. Kate is a swimmer and hopes to open a bookstore someday.
