Kate Bock is a rising second-year law student at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Kate is passionate about the right to counsel and thrilled to begin her legal career with the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender. In particular, Kate is excited about our office’s holistic and client-centered approach to criminal defense through initiatives like the Re-Entry Unit and Humanity Project. In her free time, Kate enjoys playing piano, singing, cooking, and playing spades with her family.
