Kate Verbka

Kate Verbka is a rising second-year student at the University of Memphis School of Law. Kate chose to intern with the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender because of our commitment to advocacy and zealous representation. Kate strongly believes that every person is worthy of compassion. She is passionate about re-entry programs that aid clients with reintegration into their communities. In her free time, Kate enjoys running, reading, and cooking for her loved ones.
