Midushi Pandey

Midushi Pandey is a rising third-year law student at the University of Texas School of Law at Austin.  Midushi intends on going into public defense after law school, and is particularly passionate about holistic defense and mental health diversion. The Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender’s culture of holistic defense, support for mental health jail diversion through the Jericho Project, and provision of re-entry services are appealing to Midushi. Additionally, she is excited to live in Memphis this summer and experience our city's legacy of civil rights activism and music. In addition to being a law student and aspiring public defender, Midushi is also a musician and a member of a parody theater group affiliated with her law school.
